mj won't stay active

After finally getting ol' slippry jack to work it only stays active for a short while and I have to
reboot to bring it up again.

Any ideas on how to keep jack from hitting the road?

Maybe not the same problem but never got my Dell laptop to run MJ correctly,Think Roxio or Nero CD burner program was causing the problem.

Had to unplug/replug MJ every 20 mins to get it working.

Built up a small dedicated HP computer to run MJ and never looked back.It works great.

I'm running xp 64 bit so just for the heck of it I ran the vista upgrade and have been going for
a couple of hours. Fingers crossed.
