Audio devices not found error message
After experiencing poor fidelity on the person being called end, I quit using MJ until I got around to buying a new phone. Now have Uniden hooked up. I get a dial tone, but when I try to dial, I get a "no output/input audio devices are found!" message. This happened after I received a new automatic software upgrade. Help please? kldubois
after new upgrade today 10/03/2008, same problem. noticed volume control was missing from system tray (sound was working before upgrade). Went to "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" in control panel.
Device Volume - greyed out
Sound Playback - Default device - greyed out
Voice Playback - Default device - greyed out
Hardward Devices- Microsoft Wave - not working properly
went to properties and disabled Wave Device
Next enabled Wave Device
Applied Changes to Sound and Audio devices
Closed and opened Sound and Audio devices
Selected my Conexant AMC Audio the problems that were greyed out
Clicked on Place Volume icon in the taskbar
Unplugged magicjack, and then stuck his nose back into the usb slot
I repeated some of the steps above just to get the computer to respond
Now it is running normal....
