Does a Wireless USB port Router work with MagicJack?

My brother installed his MagicJack today and is very satisfied. He wants to be able to plug in the magicjack into a 4 port wireless USB hub and have the telephone lines run into the different rooms in his home. So, has anyone plugged a MagicJack into one of these devices and used it.

My logic tells me it should work. What about 2 or 3 or 4 magicjacks into a single 4 port wireless hub. I was looking at this hub as a sample:

Let me know your ideas and what has worked for you. Also, how did the softphone interface work?

Best Regards,

Steve

Why do you need 4 jacks running at once?

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS - PROTECT YOUR LEADS! MAGIC JACK CAN DO IT FOR YOU!

There will be many cases were a small office may choose to have serveral different phone numbers for their employees. For example, A mortgage company or real estate company has independent contractors working for them. To lower the cost of the office operation, the broker may choose to have each employee pay for their own phone line USB dongle and insert it into the router to activate that line for the employee. This insures that the loan officer or realtor tracks their own calls and clients. The broker still get paid for the business brought into the office and his cost of phone lines is lowered dramatically. So, MagicJack is a great solution for independant contractors.

Yes, I understand that (1) MagicJack = (1) computer. The idea was to see if a usb roughter can be used in this situation where an office has contract employees and they come and go, so, this solution may be a good one for the broker/owner of the office to lower his telephone costs.

If you have a way that could benefit someone in this manner, post your idea for others!
