MagicJackLoader.exe doesn't work
Clicking on MagicJackLoader.exe and the mj desktop shortcut doesn't start my mj. Neither does clicking on the mj icon in My Computer. I opened Task Manager and saw that mj's Autorun.exe runs for a few seconds, but that's about it. To start mj i have to use setup.exe located in \mjusbsp\ug00000. So i made a desktop shortcut to that file, but besides cluttering my desktop (running setup.exe creates a desktop shortcut to mjloader), it also means I can't play around w/mj's settings such as skins etc, since every time i run restart w/setup.exe it returns everything to the original settings. Could anyone help me?

My wife's computer has this same behavior with magicjack for some reason I have been unable to solve. The magicjackloader.exe would put its icons and skins back if you used that to start magicjack not just setup.exe, so you aren't losing anything in that comparison.
On my wife's computer I created a shortcut to start her magicjack software using the command line syntax to start magicjack.exe directly.
The command looks like this but you may have to change the "g:\" drive reference to match the drive letters on your computer.
magicJack.exe /foreground /scf _magicJackPersonalDataRoot "G:\magicJack"

This command as written assumes you're at a DOS prompt in the directory where the executable is or that the executable is in your path. Try running the following command;garybritt wrote:magicJack.exe /foreground /scf _magicJackPersonalDataRoot "G:\magicJack"
"%APPDATA%\mjusbsp\magicjack.exe" /foreground /scf _magicJackPersonalDataRoot "G:\magicJack"
As mentioned before the drive letter at the end may need to change to match the drive letter that was assigned to the flash drive inside your magicjack.
