Six MagicJacks (on six separate computers) have all suddenly begun refusing to allow outgoing calls. Port-forwarding is correct. (This was the first place I looked.)
Incoming calls go through just fine. Outgoing calls ring on the distant phone but, on the MagicJack end of he call, we hear a single "partial ring" and an immediate busy signal.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm really stumped after having just dumped AT&T following WEEKS of good service from MagicJack to only have this all blow up in my face the day after he dumping...
Thanks in advance,
Keith

Since the actual voice is transferred via RTP in the upper port address area I would check to make sure that UDP ports from say 10,000-32,000 are not being blocked. I think if they are this may account for the behavior your reporting. Have you made any changes in your network configuration or firewall/anti-virus software which coincide with the onset of the problem?MonsterFM wrote:Six MagicJacks (on six separate computers) have all suddenly begun refusing to allow outgoing calls. The difference may be in NAT and how it is handled on your computers/network between incoming and outgoing calls.
I seem to be having the same problem as you. But, only to select Cellular phones. Here's some of the stuff I've tried & gotten from MJ C/S..
