Many More Problems

Post by bigbone »

Ok,i was one of the first MJ users when it first came out...My unit worked great for a little over a year and i renewed service. Then i got the ERROR message and i fixed the problem and 3 weeks later the unit died..I had just happen to have a 2nd unit and had to go thru hell to get MJ to switch my new year service to my other unit that did work..It has been working fine for almost 3 months now..I came in one day last week and turned my computer on and the MJ started to load and an 3-4 seconds later it launched my browser and went to magicjack.com and that is what it has been doing ever since.I got online to support and we went thru the upgrades and all the crap that i have tried before going to customer service, well 4 hours later they tell me they will have to get with the main techs and get back with me.has anyone else had this problem?I have uninstalled MJ and started fresh with no luck.I have used the upgrade, mjrecover, you name it i have done it except throw it out and i may try that next..

Have you tried to format it's Flash mem? Maybe del all of MJ's files from your computer and settings in the registry? Then reinstall.

You could also try a powered usb hub. It should provide better stability and often fixes many problems.

Have you tried to get them to replace the MJ with a new on?
