help mj wont work

since i got this magicjack i have been having trouble and the tech chat could not help when i plug the mj nothing will happen i had try download the upgrade,format and so on but nothing happen again and above all i was unable to format again it will say unable to complete format. please any help will be appreciated

it sounds like the thing is broken, I'd say send it back if they can't help you in chat, and it's still within the 30-day return limit.

Make sure the Magic Jack is FULLY inserted into the USB port.

If it is... then maybe try a powered USB hub. Otherwise I'd send it back for replacement before the 30days is up. Unless of course you bought it from a reseller.. then you are bound to their refund and replacement terms.
