Plantronics 510 Bluetooth Used Successfully with MagicJack!
PLANTRONICS MODEL 510 EARPIECE WORKS WELL WITH MAGICJACK
Yes, I am currently using my plantronics model 510 bluetooth with my MagicJack and love the quality of the calls. I went out and got a bluetooth USB dongle and plugged it into my computer and it identified my earpiece immediately.
So, I can switch back and fourth between the earpiece and the landline by simply, change between the two in the "MENU" screen located at the top of the MagicJack Softphone interface.
I also use the same plantronics earpiece with my MOTO Q cellphone and my Packet* ST2118 office phone. This is an easy solution and I have not had a single problem.
Good Luck,
Steve

Re: Bluetooth
. I think you may have to go in headset settings in the softphone and select your bluetooth for mic and speaker....deryld wrote:Is anyone using MJ w/ Bluetooth earpiece? I'm trying to configure a Samsung WEP200 and it wants me to use Skype.

Headset solution
Try this: TO GET YOUR BLUETOOTH HEADSET TO WORK WITH MAGICJACK!
GO TO YOUR SOFTPHONE INTERFACE AND DO THE FOLLOWING:
MAKE SURE YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE IS ENABLED ON YOUR COMPUTER.
1) CLICK ON THE "MENU" BUTTON... ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE SCREEN.
2) SELECT, "SWITCH TO HEADSET" BUTTON.
3) DETERMINE FROM EACH OF THE THREE DROP DOWN ITEMS, YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE.
4) SELECT OK.
MAKE YOUR FIRST CALL AND TEST THE BLUETOOTH.
NOTE: YOU CAN GO BACK TO THE SAME "MENU" SCREEN TO SWITCH BACK AND FORTH FROM YOUR HEAD SET AND YOUR LANDLINE PHONE.
THAT'S IT. GOOD LUCK,
STEVE
