or cdma?
what was the quality of the call?
Also, anyone know the best rates for prepaid data using a mobile phone as a data modem? BOOST had good rates, but their widen service isnt fast enough for anything like MJ.
the point is, if i can pay a decent rate for data using prepay mobiles as data modems, then connect the MJ thru a laptop using same data modem, in the end I WIN.
anyone use their MJ with an EVDO data connection?

mJ seems to work just fine over EVDO from Verizon and Sprint.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any prepaid that has true high-speed data at decent rates... Many people over at HoFo were trying to use the "free" EVDO that you can get through their INpulse plans, but I don't believe people were able to "tether" to a laptop, so it was useless for this purpose.
Good plan, though!
Oh, and I don't think the CDMA 1xrt service is fast enough for mJ.
