Busy Signal From My Wife's Work Phone

Hi. Whenever my wife calls our MJ from the hospital she works at, she gets a very fast busy signal. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how do I fix it? Thanks.

This issue also surfaced on older phone switches when new exchange numbers became prominent with the advent of cell phone companies. Since most hospitals have their own telephone switches, the hospital phone switch probably does not recognize the new 3 digit exchange for YMAX (magicJack) in your area. The IT people in the hospital will have to program the switch to recognize the new exchange, if that is the issue. Have her contact the IT people and give them the exchange number for your MJ so they can add it to the exchange call table in the hospital phone system. For example my exchange is 641..... xxx-641-xxxx

The fast busy you describe is known as a "reorder tone".
