echo cancelling speakerphone

Does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced, echo cancelling speakerphone for use with magicjack?

When I use my laptop's microphone and speakers, the caller hears their own voice (going back through the microphone from the speakers).

I'd like something w/ good, loud speakers (so it'll probably need to use batteries or be plugged-in for that power) and good microphone pickup.

I'd think most people, when using magicjack at home, would want something like this.

I use a Plantronics USB Headset with MJ and Skype...and excellent sound quality both ways. I tried a Logitech USB headset tand it was very good too.

If you are using a USB Hub, try using a powered one. Always use a USB digital headset to get best sound quality.

The echo might be due to your internet connection speed too. Do a speed test for VOIP.

Go to Costco and pick up a Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phone package. I use them all the time and each handset has speaker phone capabilities and they work extremely well. No echo and plenty of volume and mic sensitivity. (don't take one in the bathroom with you or you will entertain whomever you are talking to with the corresponding room ambiance)

They also have a model that has a speaker phone built into the base unit and it performs very well also.

Price range $69 dollars for a base and 3 phones to $139 dollars for a base and five phones.

PS - "I'd think most people, when using magicjack at home, would want something like this." I think most people at home already have "something like this" in fact it is very difficult to find a phone that does not have speaker-phone capabilities these days.

Thanks -- I'll check those models out.

Yes, I agree most people have phones w/ speakers but at least the one I have isn't very good... I didn't explain myself well. I'm looking for more of a better speaker-microphone capability than the capability on most cheap phones (so a group can talk to and be easily heard by someone dialed-in).
