Gigabit ethernet LAN on MJ computer limits bandwidth BAD

I've found on every computer that I hook up the MJ to the LAN bandwidth gets reduced to speeds comparable to 10/100 on gigabit ethernet. The link speed on the adapter is not reduced, and as soon as I remove the dongle my speeds will go back up to 80-100MB/s. I haven't seen any discussions about this. Anyone on giga-lan to confirm?

Are all of your cables Cat 6e? Gig eth uses all 4 pairs....
