Does anyone have to happen to have the email for the person that runs their tech support operation (or anyone else up their management chain). I just had a very unfortunate chat with Lovelyn who tried troubleshooting a problem which their other tech people said is a problem with no known solution. She tried to get me to change my DNS globally which would have impacted all my software (to solve the problem of calling, connecting and going back to a dial tone). When I didn't want to do that and asked her why after an hour we weren't moving towards a solution, she abruptly disconnected my session.
I reconnected to tech support who told me there was no current solution and it is being worked and he refused to escalate to the center manager or give me any emails. Apparantly they are instructed to only allow chats with the lower level analysts.
(see the other technical forum for the actual chat)
Thanks.

I used dead chat once. I was escalated to a manager.JoelIrwin wrote:Apparantly they are instructed to only allow chats with the lower level analysts.
As I mentioned in the other thread, I suspect the only thing they've been instructed to do is to make a cost/benefit analysis and dump anyone that might consume a lot of time (relative to the $1.60 a month you pay, and the nickel they probably get for your chat session). I suspect she pulled up your support history and dead-ended you.
There is an email for Dan the inventor. I've heard people receive responses from someone who reads it. I don't have the address.

I get that. I used to run a call center for Exxon - very familiar with customer support.
Interestingly, I have not experienced the 'dial tone' problem in the last week or so.
I tried the Dan email a few months ago on a different issue (where I kept getting error 4's when MJ was connected on boot and I had to wait for the system to quiet down then start the software) and never received a response. Of course, like the other 'problems' that issue eventually disappeared as well.
Now if they can only get that desktop software an option to stay out of the way (or at least not keep top focus when I click on something else), I would be really happy. All I want to do is dial and talk and the desktop dialer gets in my way.

I recommend asking for amanage. I do not know if he still works there or if hes to expensive labor for magicjack, but he is deff one of the best. He is located in the US and has been around since last year. BUT, he may not work there. I remember asking for him before us indians took over the chat... and they transferred me. But that was a long time ago.

amange is still there.. I was on a chat with tech sup when they sent me to him when I requested him or a couple of the other techs that were from a year ago..amange worked with me to cure a problem with my sister about 3 months ago, he couldnt get it fixed, I know that it wasn't a MJ problem, but he gave it a hell of an effort before giving up, which was way after I would have..
