Windstream DSL 6000/384 SS 4200(bridged) WRT54GL(PPoE) WDS to 3 WRT54G's as wireless repeaters all running Tomato(v1.19) 8 boxes 4 wired, 4 wireless. MagicJack for VOIP
Area code 305
I'm from Canada and I selected an area code from Florida. Since I got my MJ, 2 days ago, I can't make an outgoing call. Does the 305 area code is down?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Hello,213 California also down. And they get the guts to compare to Skype???
To those of you that are still down:
Here is a possibke fix (it worked for me)
Format the Magic Jack drive, then unplug it from your computer, then plug it back in and let it do its upgrade thing. That is the only way I could get my service back up, even after trying the Tech Chat, etc.
If this works for you, it is because they were in the process of "upgrading" again a few days ago, and, apparently, it did not complete correctly in a lot of MJ's, expecially if you didn't happen to have boot up your computer for a few days. The "upgade" was part 2 of their brilliant plan to change everyones SIP password (again, in some cases like mine) and have them encrypted, so formatting the drive and leting it start over again fixes it. You will need your username and password for reregistering it-the ones you used when you bought it online.
