OK so I did some searching this morning after this solution came to me while laying down to go to bed last night... that always happens to me.
Anyway, I realized that the clicking sound I hear every time a new ad comes up in MJ isn't part of the program itself, but rather, a windows sound bite. I remembered that it sounds exactly like a page refreshing or a link loading in IE...I think it took me a while to realize this because I haven't used IE in such a long time. Anyway, I did some searching and found the solution: Go to control panel, Sounds, for Windows Explorer, "Start Navigation" and "Complete
Navigation" and set them both to "none." To make it easier on yourself just hit the S and C keys until you come to the ones you need, I did it and the clicking sound is gone!!! YAY!!
Most annoying MJ trait (for me) fixed!

Aint that always the way, you rack your brain on a problem for days and when you just cant fight
it any longer and you give up for the day, you lay there and cant sleep cause you cant understand
why you cant figure it out, then, BAMM!!! It hits you wakes you up and you go right to the problem
and the answer stares you in the face.. Then you are so proud of your fix that you cant even get back
to sleep cause the glowing grin on your face keeps every body awake.. You're awake, she's awake, you
try to tell her the magnificent thing you just did.. She hasn't a clue..Well, You can tell us..
We appreciate it..You go Boy!!!

It's been discussed here too: http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/mj-a ... navigationgnimsh wrote:...I did some searching and found the solution: Go to control panel, Sounds, for Windows Explorer, "Start Navigation" and "Complete

Notifier Window
Hate to admit it, but I spent a week comparing kernel file sizes, monitoring ports & router logs, etc. trying to identify who was mysteriously communicating with my system. Glad I found this forum!

Thank you so much!!!
I would never have figured that out! I even had my phone go "BING" when msn messenger popped up to tell me that I had a new email.
I found this forum within one hour of installing my new MagicJack, and had the problem fixed immediately.
That is something that MagicJack should tell you during install, or fix automatically.

MJ doesn't seem to work in Dubai, UAE
Hi all,
I bought Magic Jack while I was visiting the US last month. Unfortunately it seems to be blocked in Dubai, U.A.E. Any tips on how to make it work?
The error it gives is "not connected, No network connection, Error 9".
I read something about the Hotspot shield which had mixed reviews.
Any tips would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
