If you do a search, you should find several posts addressing this. I believe someone suggested going into your System=>Hardware settings and looking for a broken driver labelled Ymax and deleting it. Sorry if my explanation is a little weak but I haven't had my coffee yet this a.m.

Anyway, that's what worked for me. If you need better instructions, you can find them on the forum or I can send them to you.

No Blue light/ cannot click telephone in menu option

Post by MagiclyJackedUp »

This has happened to me twice over the last year. Go to the MagicJack.com site and click on LiveHelp.
1. There is an upgrade button push that. Disconnect MJ for 15 seconds and reconnect. (That did not work for me.)
2. Look down lower on that same page: "If you clicked above and still need further assistance, read this". Down 6 lines "Blue Light is Not on/ I Cannot Click Telephone in Menu" Push on this for MagicFix to complete. Disconnect MJ for 15 seconds and reconnect.(this did not work for me).
3. If this does not work then click on the next line and it sends you the Recover tool. After downloading this, Recovering, and reconnecting the MJ, both the blue light came on, the telephone option was functional and phone calls work fine.

Hope this helps you.

I don't know if you are still having trouble with this but I just figured out how to fix this on my computer today. I chatted on the live support option and it was so scripted that it did not help. We did all kinds of things to my computer which I do not remember all of them to undo - I hope nothing is messed up.

Anyways, this is what I did. I right clicked on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. I scrolled down to where it said manage and clicked. On the left side of the Computer Management utility I clicked on Device Manager. On the right side I noticed there a picture of a question mark beside a device - click the plus sign - it happened to be the magicJack hardware. Right click where it says something about TigerJet.

Select Update Driver. Then on the hardware update screen select "No not this time." and click next. Select "Install from a list or specific location and click next. Next select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install" and click next

In the update driver menu scroll down to where you see something about a USB device, and select that as the driver you want to update - then click next. You should now see two instances of TigerJet listed - select the top one and click next. Once updated click finish. I knew something was different when I looked back on the "Computer Management" utility and clicked the plus sign beside "Sound, video and game controllers" - In the menu there was now a "USB Internet Phone by TigerJet" (which was not there before and was the reason it could not toggle over to Telephone from headset.)

Let me know if this helps or if you need more help.
