audio quality on the phone
I just installed MJ on my computer two days ago but the audio quality is very bad on the phone all the time. I have try it on all usb ports on my computer, reboot the cable modem for 3 minutes, running the magicfix program and running the vista upgrade (even though I use windows XP) as the customer service suggested but still have the same problem. I have tried both cordless phone and wired phone but both have the same problem. However, when I use a bluetooth headset connected to my computer to bluetooth adapter, the audio quality is a lot better but still have a little noise. Even with the Kaspersky anti-virus disabled, the audio quality on the phone is still very bad. I dont have a second PC to try. Any one has any suggestion?
It may not be the problem in your situation (you didn't describe the poor audio quality), but one thing I've done to reduce the wierd noises it makes in the background on my end is under volume/headset control (mine then set to telephone) is to put the speaker setting to its lowest level. Putting it higher introduces much higher levels of the wierd noises.
Besides that the only other audio quality problem I have is the occasional 1 - 1 1/2 second dropoff during a call.
I'm on a wired phone.

Describe the noise, ie: hissing, crackling, popping, echoing, etc...
Have you tried a dsl line filter between your MJ & physical phone?
Do you have the same trouble using the softphone & headset?
