A Privacy Question

Post by horsepower »

Hi. If I install MJ on WinXP in it's own profile, will MJ be able to read my favorites, contact email addresses and other privacy sensitive things on my computer?

Thanks.

I believe so.
At least I'm almost certain it will read the information in that account.

But whenever I have magicjack on one account and I switch over to the other one, it becomes pretty much unusable. So good luck and I hope it works out for ya.

Ah. Well there goes my plan to prevent MJ from reading personal information. Is there any other of preventing MJ from 'seeing' personal info? If not I guess I'm not going to buy this thing.

if you create a user acct and name it magicjack and install it in there it wont read any personal info from another user acct.

Thanks. Yes I understand that, but the previous poster said if you then switch from the MJ account to your personal account, MJ has problems.
