Re: Can't hear
Are you using a headset (plugged into your computer's mic/speaker jacks), or a handset (plugged into the MJ device)?MDG wrote:I make a call. Person on the other end can hear me fine but, I can't hear them at all and I can't even hear their phone ringing.

Re: reply
I haven't ever used a handset, so I won't be the best person. But, if it were me I'd try using the softphone with a headset (or speakers and microphone) to see if it's specific to using a handset. (It probably is specific.).MDG wrote:I am using handset and have turned up mic and speaker in mj settings.
Maybe try a different handset.
Maybe try a powered hub (being careful to get one that supplies enough power.). Apparently the MJ device requires the max power the USB standard provides. But, not all motherboards (or powered hubs) provide the max. People have said that switching to a powered hub fixes the "people can't hear me" problem when using a handset. A couple of hubs recommended by MJ users:

Was your issue ever resolved?
Assuming anyone ever sees this...
My brother is experiencing the same issue with Vista. Have confirmed it is not a NAT router issue. Any experiences you've had would be appreciated
Thanks!
