MagicJack program "Not Responding" in Windows Vist

After working with MagicJack live chat representative a whole day, I still have the problem unsolved. Hope someone here could help me out.

My two computers:
Desktop: 3GB memory, Windows Vista Ultimate
Laptop: 2GB memory, Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1
My phone: Uniden (working with SunRocket when it's in business and Net2phone)

The USB driver was installed quickly after I plugged MJ into USB port. But the downloading didn't start automatically. The live chat csr suggested me to download the lastest "upgrade.exe" (8.32mb) from their page and run it. It took long time to install the softphone, and eventually it was up. While it showed "ready to call" and my phone number, the program started "not responding". It came back a while later, but whenever I click any part of the dial pad, it froze up again and again. If I dialed on my phone, I can not hear anything and the number didn't show on the dial pad until 1 minute later (when it became "not responding" again)

Diagnosis:
The CPU is 90% idle for most of the time and memory is 50% used
This happened to both of my computers in both administor and guest accounts (someone suggested to install it in guest account)
I tried different USB ports (not usb hub).
Bandwidth is good (6Mb download and 2MB upload tested)
MagicJack is on the exception list of windows firewall and it didn't help to turn off firewall or antivirus software.
I even went to the store and exchanged for a new one, but nothing changed.

Can some one help me with that? TIA

downloading didn't start automatically
At least i have not had that problem yet.

I have no idea if this would work for ya, But there suport give me this link:

It did not sove my problem but, it might yours.. Dunno..

with my issues and things i have done and going to try.

Ive never been able to even register my MJ, and even tryed a new one.

It really sounds like a PC issue to me.
Have you made data backups and tryed a fresh install of your operating system?
Every few months i use my activedisk to reinstall, all my saved data and software sets on other drives, This way i can reinstall my operating system in a few minutes and its ready to rock.. I no longer even run anti_virus software, i dont like how it slows down a PC.

P.S. MJ really dont like Nero software, My neighbor tryed my MJ on his PC and it would not install, Untill he got rid of a few programs MJ didnt like.
If it has 4 tires with a remote and runs on Nitro, ill Race It!
