Features that are coming "soon". Area Codes, Caller ID blocking, Follow me, etc.

International calling?

Post by mistermark »

If you check your control panel after log in you will see that you can prepay for $5.00 or $10.00 in international calls. Although the rates aren't yet p[osted, it looks like it is really right around the corner.

I didn't test to see if it works, but I think it should work, otherwise they would send an email not to touch the feature since they are testing it.

Well i know the rates page does not work....but the page to add credit works....they would have a do not use message or otherwise they would be in trouble for eating up money.....Right?

I plan on doing this myself. My cousin has DSL so he can keep it on all the time. PLUS he can charge people to use it and make some cash on the side.

I m so deceived with the prices of MagicJack. I bought it for the international calls only. Now i see that it s cheaper to call from the home phone line using the codes like : 10 10 256 + number ! if i use this way to call morocco, it s gonna cost me 0.17 $ per min, and i dont even need do buy callin cards, just has to dial the code 10 10 256 before the number. If i use MagicJack, it s gonna cost me 0.30 $ per min, almost the double !!! So i waited so long for this price ? i dont believe it !!!

Not sure why you thought MJ was going to be cheaper. It was never advertised for international calls. It's an extra feature that's always been "coming soon".

And there are some for about that rate. One of the places I call is .025, and for that locale, most other charge at least .03 and up.
