Went out to radioshack, and was talking to the guy at the counter, and he said it sold pretty well, but did not know alot about it. Since I had extra money I would give it a try. The most I would be out would be $43.00 with the option to wait for a refund. So when I got home, and followed direction, I got a bit worried there was a catch "22". I had used vontage for a year with no problems, but had to get out since I saw this on t.v. Finally after getting everything activated, and going to the web site and reading more, I realized there is no worries. This is the real deal, and if you don't mind the self install, and the dialog box, you got yourself one heck of a deal. WOW! As long as it keeps working properly and have no serious problems with the phone company, I am going to add 5 years in about 6 months from now, again not a lot of money to lose, plus by buying 5 years you getting 2 free, instead of yearly. I would rather have a # in my town, but there was none that close
So far I give it a 9 out of 10. I had phone working within 5 minutes. I would recommend this to everybody who use a computer with high speed internet. I don't feel one bit sorry for all those other telephone company's. There is no competition out there. Now I can use the extra money for a even better internet connection. MagicJack #1
