Can someone suggest a fix for obnoxious "Internet Explorer Script Error" pop-ups that appear when I'm going to make a call (and the softfone appears) or often just appear randomly. When I'm going to make a call I get three to four successive pop-ups. The pop-ups will say...
An error has occurred in the script of this page.

Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://render.talk4free.com/msgs/intern ... ional.html
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes or No?
Anyone's help on fixing these obnoxious pop-ups will be appreciated. I've called MJ's chat support twice without a solution to the problem. They're as lost as I am!
!@#$% POP-UPS!

that happens if my firewall has privacy turned on for the Magicjack.EXE file
maybe you have that same issue
privacy could block javascript from being allowed to run
it can also block cookies from entering
it can block ads from showing
if you've got zone alarm, just go into the Program Control left tab, and select Programs from the upper right-side tab , highlight the magic USB softphone listing, right-click the mouse, select Options from the mini menu, and Click-OFF the selection for Enable Privacy For This Program.
any other firewall, ask someone else ...

Script Error
I got the same thing right after I used an anonymous proxy. I visited google on it and a pop up showed itself on the top of the webpage. Mind you an inappropriate one at that in Chinese. MJ was running at the time. I quickly turned off the proxy and got rid of the pop-up which was now running across the entire screen. I started to notice just a day later that when MJ's ads changed it would briefly show the nude Chinese pop-up instead of the jumping business man. Then just today as I was playing poker, the same Script error that you were talking about came up and I pressed "NO", well, just as soon as I clicked NO another one came up, I clicked NO again. I did a quick search using the same URL that you showed above and came across this link. So I opened up MJ and sure enough, there was no jumping business man , but instead a Nude Chinese girl. I'm guessing that I got an advertisement virus and it attached itself to MJ instead of my registry, Thank God!! With that being the case, it's like the two ads fight for superiority and the smut wins, causing the error.
None of my virus checkers catch it, so it must be ahead of the curve or I'm the only one with it. I'm going to have to delete MJ and reinstall it. That's the only thing I can think off. Maybe that helped, lol. Peace!
