MJ goes to "hold" while talking to landline

Post by crdvegas »

How do I get MJ to get out of the *hold* mode. While talking to a landline,
it will go into the *hold*, and if I hang up and redial---it will not complete the call--but does have a *session active* message in the msgbox.

Mine does the same thing...
but a better question would be 'what the heck is causing it?'

MJ goes to "hold" while talking to landline---TWO

The bad thing about it is---the resume button does not respond, as if it were in a loop. The random nature of this is maddening.

I have found --sometimes-- cleaning the registry does help. I also have redone the upgrade.

MJ support is useles.

I don't know if this is important, but, in checking my registry, the first thing in the registry was a snapshot of the iconview of the desktop!!!!

Why MJ would want this is beyond me.
I deleted the entry, I will see if this makes a difference.

As to what we, the user can do. PRAY THAT MJ WILL NOTICE THE PROBLEM!!

Try using a different USB port or (better) a powered hub

Tried that, it made no difference. However it has not happened since I
deleted that registry entry. Fingers crossed. :!:
