Ideas on getting MJ to work w/ Linux via wine, win4lin, etc

Post by tradertx »

Elsewhere on the net I've seen a couple of remarks in passing about a hardy soul getting MagicJack to work with Linux, but the details were mostly vague or lacking. One comment referred to making the process work by "remoting," whatever that means. Is it possible that anyone has gotten MJ to work on a Linux platform using wine, win4lin, Crossover Office, etc---or has anyone confirmed that any or all of these do not work with MJ? That would be useful information too. ???

I've only heard about getting it to work on Linux using some sort of vmware, but haven't tried myself

I posted my question here BEFORE I'd gotten to the Tips, Hacks & Tricks section. There's a lot of Linux discussion over there that I found insightful.
