Identify your post with the OS that you are using MJ on

Post by HolmanGT »

All,

This may not be the correct place to post this suggestion but it is most applicable when talking about technical problems.

My suggestion is simple and I feel very important. I have changed my signature to reflect my user ID and my operating system. I believe this will be extremely helpful for us the end users and the MagicJack technicians & engineers that monitor this forum (and I am sure they do  ).

There seems to be a lot of variations in problems and solutions depending on the operating system you are deploying MagicJack on. The problems and solutions I have with Vista Ultimate do not appear to be the same as those folks using XP. While some problems, tips and tricks are common across the board not all fall into that category.

Well not to let this get to lengthy, I just think it would be a very helpful adjunct to a post to make your Operating System part of the post. Also when someone has a solution to a problem if they would post the OS that the fix has been tried and proved on would be great also and absolutely super if the responder has the cure for both Vista and XP and identifies which cure goes with a particular OS.

Two cents!
