For anyone who is wondering why I want to use a USB Phone, this is because when I am mobile I take my laptop with me and 80% of the time I get a high speed wifi connection for free - so when in public it's nice to have a usb phone instead of trying to listen thru the laptop (too noisy and no privacy as well together with people wondering why you are talking to the laptop)
Well I just found the answer lol - apparently, MJ is not designed or programmed to FULLY support USB Phone devices although it would let you hear and talk on the USB phone and this is only because windows is actually allowing the device to be used in this way and for MJ to see it as a regular audio device.
MJ Support told me that they are considering progamming the software to support USB Phones in the future, but who knows when? I guess for $5, I should hold on to my USRobotics Mini USB Phone... although I can't use the keys on it, I can still hear and talk on it and its very clear. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a device like this. It can be found on Ebay occasionally or on Amazon.com ...

You can buy a "Headphone Headset Skype For VOIP Chat Computer PC MSN" from ebay for under $5 and it works fine when at public locations.
