MJ works only once after restarting

Just got a magic jack, and I'm having some problems. I can make or receive one call, and everything works great. However, the next time I try to make an outgoing call it beeps 3 times like a busy signal and drops. If I instead try to call my MJ phone#, it goes straight to voice mail.

If I restart the magic jack (Menu->Advanced Users->Restart) I can make or receive another phone call.

This has happened both with and without a phone connected, on two different computers (both running Windows XP). Does anybody have any clue what could be going wrong?

I would try bypassing your router by connecting directly to your modem, or disabling the router (if it's one of those modem/router combo things). Be aware that this can expose you to risk if you aren't running a software firewall and/or do it for too long.

If it still happens, I would try changing the proxy you use (described on the wiki FAQ).
