Hearing a delay in voice

I have had magic jack for a few weeks. Most of my outgoing calls sound like a landline on both ends. When someone calls me, I am told I sound as good as being on a landline, and so does the caller. The problem is I can hear a delay in the phone of my own voice. I have all the updates including the latest drivers. It is the same on different phones. Any ideas?
