My (hopefully final) problem with my MJ is that I get a horrible high pitched (FAX like) noise on most incomming & outgoing calls.
A "post reply" I recieved made me wonder if it had anything to do with my printer is an All in one , which of course has an installed Fax capability.
So my question is, "Has anyone had any experience at getting MJ to work with a HP Officejet 4215 All in One printer???" OR knows of anyway I could only use the printer & copier part of my all in one???
I have spent over 100 hr's trying to resolve all the problems & can't get past this last one, or find anyone else capable of getting further. I would really appreciate anyone support with this problem
Thank you

Did you try unpluging the printer from the computer to see if the problem clears?
I use the hp 4215v with only one problem. When I fax it will only let me send 9 pages at a time. If my fax is longer than that then I have to send another fax for the rest of the pages. If you want to disable the fax just unplug the phone line from the back of it. and use it as a scanner copier. Also go to you control panel and then pick printer and fax. Make sure the check mark is beside the hp officejet 4200 series NOT hp officejet 4200 series fax.
Hope this infor helps

Another important thing i forgot. What is your answer mode set as? It's the very first button on the left top corner of the printer. I have mine set for answering maching, because I use the answering machine in my system. But if your vociemail, it should say phone on your display. If your display says fax in the display, your allinone thinks its on a dedicated fax line and that more than likely is your problem.
