ok its only one day so far....but this is great. $20 year!
I just bought one at Best Buy, $40.....no credit card used.
So I had the old landline for years, fighting with their $150 to $300 phone bills.....LD, wierd minutes plkan charges....caller ID caller Id Blocker caller undo blocker...what a scam.
So I was all over Vonage when I heard about it.....and it had a lot of problems but was $35 flat. and.....a no brainer.
But I found because it was offline so much due to my INternet sevice or something....
This MJ looked appealing. I have low usage phone. This has easy 911 setup in my area. It has the local area code....I called Iowa from Texas...to Florida...its great.
So what if there's a tiny bit chatter .....I mean my expensive cellphone service drops out, and has bad connections and static noise etc..etc...
Vonage dropped out a lot too....my old landline charged $300 a month often!!
So $20 year.....I can deal with having to recall once in awhile or a little weird digital chatter or even a dropped call here or there.
I wish MJ would come out with Cellphones!!
RAVE.....

If you mean choppy/garbled voice, the wiki how-to contains detailed instructions to diagnose and improve that condition. (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/MagicJack/ ... oppy_Voice)coolcatbro wrote:So what if there's a tiny bit chatter
However, for the past two months it's been my observation that 90% of the cause of this condition is due to MagicJack's deteriorating service (oversold capacity? network upgrades with poor change control?). A few months ago it was almost guaranteed that QoS would improve fluttering/choppy/garbled voice. Today, it's almost guaranteed that it will have no impact.
