Received message "error broken storage"

Post by efkorman »

I previously had the magicJack and received message from the software telling me "error broken storage" on the unit after having it hooked up for about 10 days. Returned the unit and lo and behold, it happened again, this time in less than a week.
Now due to receiving high telephone bills, I was forced to take away my luxury of all long distance calls (in the US). And again I am going to try the magicJack once again.
To say the very least, I am a bit leery of trying it a third time.

Any feedback regarding "error broken storage" would be greatly appreciated. And at one time, through e-mail messaging, I wast told that the unit is not compatible with Windows XP (at least 9 months ago)

Thank you :)

The Search button is your friend. Had you used it you would have already had your answer. Instead of opening a new thread titled "open storage", how about doing a Search for that term?

As you read through the previous postings here you will find that most every topic has already been covered.

Welcome aboard.

If the "broken storage" problem has a solution it would be better to put it on the wiki so it is more easily located. (Forums just aren't knowledge bases, and unstructured discussions aren't conducive to discovery of nuggets of info.).

I've been watching this topic for a few months and haven't seen a definitive solution.
