How can we use Wireless or Bluetooth Telephones

Post by napoli »

I am using my Majic Jack on a wireless phone (base with satellites) and I have also used a regular wired phone with great success. My question is....Is there a way to make Majic Jack work without the phone line? Is there a way to use a wireless phone (an adapter of some kind) or Bluetooth? In other words, how do we make the Majic Jack broadcast (without wires) to a hand held phone? At my encouragement, a neighbor bought the Majic Jack and is thrilled, beyond imagination, over the quality.

I am using a bluetooth headset. It works just fine, the MJ was designed to work with bluetooth devices. I don't have a full bluetooth phone to try out however. Give it a shot...and let us know how you make out.

Other than the Bluettooth headset, who makes a Bluetooth telephone? I would be most interested in carrying one with me as I travel.

the unit works with computer audio.

If u have a BT adapter with the proper S/W u can connect the audio to a BT headset -- ergo the MJ audio.

If u have a wireless handset U must have the base plugged into something for it to work - the MJ connector provides this function.

I believe the one posted was in the $100 range, many are in the $200-$300 range.
