I found this interesting use of the MJ when I was setting it up today (first time user, love it!). Forgive me if someone else discovered this first (I searched the forum and found nothing).
Open up any sound-outputting program (I used Audacity) and set it to use the "USB Internet Phone by TigerJet" as the "Speaker" device, and the same for the microphone device. Now load up any sound file.
Pick up the phone connected to the MJ, there should be dial tone.
Now open the MJ soft phone and put a single space in the number field directly below the "END" and "SEND" buttons. The dial tone should stop.
Play the sound file in Audacity; you should hear it through the phone! The volume can be adjusted through Audacity.
This also works for recording: just start recording in Audacity and speak into the phone. Your voice should be recorded.
To get back the dial tone, just hang the phone up for ~5 seconds, or delete the space in the number field.
Notes:
* This "hack" only allows *you* to hear the audio, not people you call using the MJ (although you can hear the audio from Audacity during a call, the remote party will not).
* The recording quality is telephone quality, as expected.
* This hack could potentially be used to use the MJ dongle (and a phone) with Skype or another VoIP soft phone.
EDIT: Works GREAT with Gizmo5 AND Skype!

This method cannot record a call; it uses the dongle's hardware as a virtual sound card/mic so that other programs such as Skype can use the phone attached to the dongle. If you really want to record a call, you can try Virtual Audio Cable (http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html).
