DECT 6.0
For those of you who are contemplating new phone purchase, I recently, bought Unidem 2060-2 DECT 6.0 2-phone set from Buy.Com for $57.99, shipping included. Works great with MagicJack and NO CID problems. Audio quality is unbelievable for such a tiny pair. This may sound like a commercial but I am amazed and delighted with these phones!

It all comes down to personal choice
If you don't want the answering mode, just turn it off. The built-in digital answering machine can also be used to record the in-progress call for record/proof or to leave a personal voice notes for other family members Of course, if you live by yourself, then you don't need all that goodies

GE DECT 6.0 < $79 for 2 phones, Walmart.
Interesting, in the Customer Reviews it gets trashed, but I have found them to be flawless (in fact, a bit too loud; perfect w/ a headset that has a volume control to turn it down).
Although, I have been hearing about a DECT 6.0 (I think Panasonic????) that people are RAVING about -- anyone know which one?
EDIT: Might be these Panasonic 4 handset $99 mentioned on FatWallet. Anyone try these???
Yeah, I know these are not cheaper than the OP posted but in this category, I will take Quality/Features/Security over price.

You're so right! MJ's voicemail is sooo much better than Panasonic's answering system! MJ's vm always has the correct time & always notifies you of a message! How could I of been so stupid!
<end sarcasm>
Just messing with ya! I love my phone system and I wanted the answering system because MJ's isn't reliable.
Morpheus: What is "coming soon"? How do you define "coming soon"?

My Panasonic's work with MJ's callerid & also message notification (in the rare situation when a vm is left on the MJ's system - happens when I'm on the phone and ignore call waiting)redram38 wrote:I have Panasonic KX-TGA101S 4 handsets bought at Sams I love the phones, however they do not work with MJ's Caller ID. I had to do the resister fix to get them working. Anyone have any Panasonics that work with CID ?

The two above links I looked at have the old Panasonic phones in them. I have the newer all black ones that I think are a step up from the old ones. They have a few more options and look better as well. They also have a more durable out door model that is a little extra, check them out in the link below. I have not seen them at any stores yet, only online.

I have the Uniden. Caller ID works, featureset cant be beat. Had all brands and always thought Uniden was cheap, but I am very surprised to say I like my Uniden the best of all so far.
