I have had the MJ for almost a year & have been generally happy with it. I've noticed that it does randomly stop working once & a while, but for $20 a year, I'm not complaining. I don't even mind the splash screen coming up everytime you boot the computer. What I have noticed & would like to solve is that (even when not making calls) it seems to slow down my internet access considerably. I have FIOS service at 10kbps, that runs fine when the MJ is not connected. Once connecting the MJ, it seems to slow down closer to 5mbps.
Also, my wife & sister in law swear that the MJ disconnects the calls after only a few minutes. Personally, I've never had this happen though. Is there some known fix to correct this problem.
Lastly, what is the point of running MJ as a service? Does it improve the performance? What does it do? Does it go against the MJ TOS?
