Outgoing VM message not playing

I tried to set up my voicemail today and recorded the 'unavailable' 'message but it doesn't play when I call my voicemail. It still plays the default 'the person you are trying to reach..." line. Any ideas?

Also, what is the 'temporary greeting'for?

me too, exactly! I spent forever on "live chat", useless. They told me they "reset" the voicemail and had me start over. Still doesn't work.

Keep trying
I had to do it 3 times yesterday after they reset my voicemail.
I had been having problems ONLY getting my voice mail via email and not when I call into voicemail. It always said no messages. So after they reset it I had to record my outgoing 3 times before it took.
