This is one case where I tend to believe Dan. People tend to confuse the authorization hold that is put on the money with the actual taking of the money. Apparently, the Palm Beach County DA also does not know the difference.

The settlement statement introduced yet another confusion. MJ agreed to settle new claims within "24 business hours". Just how long a time period is that? Is it 24 clock hours, since the chat people work 24 hours a day without a day off? Is it a whole month, because the lone person assigned to handle the issue works one hour a day, 5 days a week? The DA should have known better than to put such nebulous, official sounding wording in the agreement.

p.s. This thread should be moved to The Lounge, since it has nothing to do with Technical Support.

Yeah I wasn't sure where to post it so I chose my favorite section :) I figured the powers that be would move it where they deemed.
I agree as a DEBIT charge is different than a CREDIT charge. I see a $1 hold all the time on mine when I use my debit card..
Shame the stupid people win yet again ( like in Nov)...
