magicJack - why don't you communicate with your customers??

Post by hsweiss »

Hey any magicJack employees out there - why don't you communicate with your customer base other than thru insidious late-night sleazy infomercials??

There are a lot of us out here who use your product and probably provide more help to your customers than your own tech support (who a lot of us know to lie - ok, make untruthful claims, e.g., 'we've told the engineers about the problem and it will be fixed in 24 hours').

Wouldn't it be nice if there were a MJ development blog - tell us (your customers) what you are working on, what new improvements are coming, what we can look forward to, etc.

Wouldn't it be nice if Dan ('the inventor man') were to actually address his constituents with real information rather than sleazy infomercials?

Wouldn't it be nice if we could actually WRITE to the company? Or CALL the company? Nah, that would be silly to be able to call a PHONE company, right?

Sure, like the next guy I appreciate the fact that the product just works for me and it costs me so little. I think that it could revolutionize the telecom industry if the prices stay low like they are. But there are a LOT of people who have really crapped up PCs and they don't have the technical knowledge or operating system technical expertise to make MJ work on their hosed up Windows boxes. I have had my MJ for more than a year and it took a LOT of tweaking and playing to make mine work well - and I've got the technical expertise. The sleazy infomercials make it sound like my grandmother could buy the product and use it. Maybe.... But more than likely not without me to help her.

Come on guys - open up - TALK TO US!

you get what you've paid for..
if you want that kind of support then MJ will have to change the cost of the device to a higher price..

have you thought about how Dan make money from MJ?

Sure I get what I pay for - all I'm asking is that the amorphous blob we know as MJ communicate with its customer base - make nice to us! Mr. Dan the Inventor Man has lots of money - he can afford to send email or post a "memo from the inventor" to the web site or to his forum. His engineers are geeks (I resemble that remark) and like to type and talk about their work - so where are they hiding?

My guess it that the majority of the MJ engineers speak only Chinese. ;) lol

You know, you may be speaking the truth!

But of course Mr. Dan speaks english - and we know his marketing folks do too!! Even Mr. Gates tells us how lucky we are to be using his products....

But you have to pay more than $19.95 a year, XXXemofreakXXX is right... anyway i've tried the chat support and they are good i really appreciate how they respond, and besides some updates needs to be given through chats so i think no need to ask more for now... Hey hsweiss we're lucky for $19.95 they still provide support 24/7....[/b]
