Sorry, but the settlement had nothing to do with charging for long distance.

MJ agreed to pay $125,000 in order to settle this issue. They did not admit guilt. The Florida Attorney General accused MJ of charging the purchasers debit card prior to the end of the 30-day free trial. Neither the Attorney General nor many users know how debit cards work.

MJ does not, repeat not place the charge on the users account until the 30th day, however they do verify the availability of the funds, which puts a hold in that amount on the users account. The money is still in the account.

Many purchasers saw the hold and ran to the AJ about taking the funds prior to the end of the free trial. MJ settled because it would have cost more to fight than pay the agreed amount.

As far as customer service, the only "customer service" is on-line chat, so response is instant. The answer may not be correct or solve the problem, but the response is instantaneous.

MJ is guilty of many things, but they do honor the 30-day free trial.

Hold amount is different from a charge- - -

For MJ, its a way to ensure that the device would be paid ^ ^

anyway for a $40 and a 30 day moneyback I would not worry for a Hold or a charge/ / / / /
