Grandstream HT 486 (or 487) settings?

Post by fdsfds »

I tried the settings from the HT502 thread, got green light and dial tone for about 15 seconds; then it disappeared.

use Use NAT IP 69.0.208.27:3478

local RTP port: 16384

NAT Traversal (STUN): set to yes

make sure your outbound proxy is set and you use :5070 at the end of the address

Handytone setup

I used the setup shown in this thread. I get incoming calls fine. But outgoing calls to any number I try always go to the ymax test number with a recording saying "the test call is successful". Not.

make sure all if the settings are correct. including the stun and nat ip address. you also need to add a :5070 after the proxy info.

if you are still having issues try to use the dial plan
dial_plan = ([1235-9]11!|411S0|<:1your_area_code>[2-9]xxxxxxS0|1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0| 1441!|1473!|1649!|1758!|1767!|1784!|1876!|1[26][68]4!|1[28]68!| 124[26]!|134[05]!|167[01]!|18[06]9!|011!)

SIP Server:proxy1.NewYork.talk4free.com
Outbound Proxy: 192.168.1.1:5070
SIP User ID: EXXXXXXXXXXXX
Authenticated ID: EXXXXXXXXXXXX

This is currently working for me. Change your SIP Server based on lowest ping and shortest path of the proxy servers listed here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r209511 ... -are-using
