Calls & VM from Magic Jack

Post by rethomas1972 »

I have received two calls & VM from Magic Jack, however the message is so short there is no actual sound and the Phone Number from the caller does not work.

I no longer use MJ even though I still have a year and a half left on my subscription. My hardware has failed and there doesn't appear to be anyway to contact MJ direct.

Any suggestion on why I can't call the individual who has called me. The intercept operator gives some error code and then says the phone cannot be connected as dialed.

Maybe because your hardware has failed?

Thanks a lot maniac.

I have more than one phone.

The E-Mail I received is as follows;
You received a new 0:10 min long voicemail message in mailbox 9363335681 from 7864864635. Anyone know who this is?

I have tried dialing the number from my home phone and it doesn't work.
I would like to get another MJ but I don't want to have another years subscription.

Put the number in a Google search and you will get lots of hits.

You can check on the phone number that called you with 2 free services I know of.

1) http://whocalled.us

2) http://www.whitepages.com/reverse_phone

I have used both to help identify sales calls and scammers who call and do not leave a message.
See the MagicJack Wiki (FAQ, How-To, history and more).
