Call Quality is an Issue!

I keep hearing the call quality is great. That has not been true for me. I have a decent Sony Vaio desktop and limit other apps running. Most calls have blank spots in them where I can't hear the caller of they can't hear me. Frequently they will ask me if I am on a cell phone and in a bad area or moving around. I have tried magicfix, a corded phone and putting Magic Jack on high. About to give up...any ideas?

Thx

A couple of suggestions would be to disconnect your router if you have one and hook up directly to your modem to see if thats the problem. Second would be to try a powered usb hub as your usb port may not be giving mj enough power. If none of the above improve your call quality goto the magicjack wiki to get a detailed explanation on how to change your proxy server you connect to.
