Can I leave my MJ on continuously 24/7

Post by babbagene »

Can I leave my MJ on continuously 24/7 , I usually leave my computer on all the time and was wondering if never unplugging the MJ would be bad and damage it , also how long could I expect MJ to work if it is never unplugged?
Thank You

I leave mine on all the time , with a power adaptor in the front usb no problems. Front usb's are lower in power than back ports, so to make it work correct I bought a power adaptor.Mine is fine and when I do shut off the pc and restart it, starts just fine. :D

Yes, there is no problem leaving the MJ on all the time, it is generally easier on most electronic devices to leave them on continously rather than subjecting them to the initial spikes when turning them on as well as the temperature differentation that will occur when turning them on and off. As an engineer it is very difficult to estimate the total life of any given component, but based upon current mfg technology, you can probably expect several years of trouble free operation once you are passed the infant mortality stage.
