magic jack seems to block my system restore

Hi, ive had magic jack for 2 months, and i LOVE it..but i noticed my System Restore wasnt making any restore points...I dont know if magic jack is the problem, but then I read something when I was trying to find the solution, in a technical forum about system restore problems; "Another reason could be that your system is running applications on a constant basis. If the system does not see any idle time, it will not create a Restore Point. This is because it is programmed to wait until it can get a good snapshot of your system. Try disabling programs that you see might be causing this issue. Once stopped, you should get regular Restore Points again."

Since Magic jack never lets my system go to sleep, I wonder if its unintentionally blocking my restore points?

ANy suggestions would be appreciated...

I run XP Pro and I hve no problems like this - you can always
make a restore point at anytime -- I would check and make
sure your system restore is on --

Right click on my computer and click on the system restore tab
and make sure there is NO check mark in turn off system restore
