CISCO ATA186 and MagicJack - Help

Does any one have a complete config file for Cisco ATA186.....

1. I have my Unlock ATA box and the Magic Jack SIP info...

I'd be interested as well. A friend of mine just dropped off an ATA186 and I'm in the process of trying to figure this all out.

Edit: I reset the device to defaults using these instructions and got an address from DHCP:

Reset device to
- Pick up handset
- Press red button
- Hear "configuration menu, enter menu number..."
- Type: 322873738#
- Hear "to save press star, or press the pound key"
- Press "*"
- The red light will flash, device is now reset to defaults (you may get a short ring)

Now, we need to find out what IP address has been picked up:
- Pick up handset
- Press red button
- Hear "configuration menu..."
- Type 80#
- Write down the IP address that is read back to you

Additional steps if you don't have a DHCP server (substitute one of your valid IP addresses in this example):
- Pick up phone
- Press red button again
- 20# 0# 3 - this sets dhcp to "no"
- 1# 172*16*10*4 #3 - this sets the IP address
- 10# 255*255*255*0 #3 - this sets the mask
- 28# 172*16*10*1 - this sets the gateway
- Hang up the phone, device will reset with new IP addr parameters

Using the web interface, I gave the device a static IP. I didn't have to forward any ports on my router. I wonder if it's because I enabled the SIP ALG on my DIR-655.

The only thing I changed, other than the network settings, was the SIP Parameters. All I did was put in the uname/pword, enabled loginID and name, set the proxy addy and enabled regON.

Incoming and outgoing works fine. Since this is all new to me, of course, I have lots of questions. First, for those in the know, do these parameters look proper? Everything seems to work just fine. Second, the default dial plan looks like this:

Is that sufficient? I never expected this to be so easy. After spending hours upon hours here in the forums, I kind of got feel for what to do and what to look for. I then gave it a go. Within minutes, I had dial tone and the ability to make/receive calls. I was totally shocked. I'm a quick learner though. The hard part is understanding the Tone, Audio and Service Parameters. I'm wondering, since everything seems to be working fine, if I need to change anything or leave it as is. I want the proper settings so I don't get popped for using this device. I'm a bit paranoid at this point.

I can finally put the old 400Mhz Micron laptop to rest. Poor thing has seen better days. BTW...I'm using this phone. I'm unemployed and had to go cheap. I found it at Walmart for $30. Regardless, everyone comments on how much better I sound compared to my old cordless phone and landline. The phone works great with the dongle.
