One little problem......
Everything works except no audio either way for calls out. It works perfectly for toll free no.s, but not others out. I receive calls OK. I ring my neighbors phone and my end does not ring but the neighbors does - upon answer, no audio either way. I cannot believe that this is not a problem seen by others. So close, but tried 3 phones plus headset plus USB port changes. I suspect ISP provider except why toll free works perfectly?

Wow, you sure have a unique situation. It's promising that calling 1-800 numbers works fine. But just to confirm, 1-800 works both ways, you can have a conversation?Bedford wrote:I cannot believe that this is not a problem seen by others. Have you tried plugging your MJ into another computer? Better yet, on another ISP? That is, take your computer and your ISP out of the equation. A third scenario is use your computer (is it a laptop?) on another ISP. See if there are any new clues with those scenarios.

Other people who have experienced this problem where using a router, and the router settings had to be changed to fix the issue.
Are you using a router? If so, search using the terms router and no audio.

I do not use a router. I use high speed Time Warner Road Runner thru their modem - Surfboard SB4100. I returned the MJ to Best Buy. I will wait until late this year and maybe try again. The modem has a USB jack on the back - I could have tried that one and I could have changed my no. once but otherwise, I tried everything that I could think of and no success. It would be interesting to know the return rate - I guess that it is 10%+.
