I've been having a love/hate relationship witht he MJ. 2 months ago, I decided to just use my cellphone to communicate with (kind of a hardship since I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan). I just couldn't stand the garbled and choppy voice quality I was getting. Also, (maybe just a coincidence, but) ever since we loaded the MJ onto the computer, my sound on the computer is choppy and garbled too. ummmm!? Now yesterday, I decide to plug the little MJ back in, and now I can't get rid of my dialtone. I'll dial the number I want, but the dial tone doesn't go off. The other party comes on the line but both the person on the recieving end and I still PROMENTLY hear the dial tone, and oh by the way, the voice quality was STILL choppy and garbled.
I have Norton. My husband cliecked on the feature that says that it should always accept the MJ application. Is there anything I can do to help with the voice quality and the dialtone issue?
Any thoughts....??
Dialtone won't go off even when I dial.
