Drag and Drop

Post by osr63 »

I have a new idea - Instead of seeing the ad while you are making a call, there would be an area there that you could drag folders, files or pictures to and it would send them to the person on the other end of the line. Maybe you would drag them from your desktop to the area on the softphone and the other person would receive them and could observe them while both of you talked on the phone.

Heck, why stop there. Why don't we implement a Star Trek teleporter device using a fax machine? Place the item you want to transport on the glass and press Send.......
I'm sure Dan will give this a hearty endorsement for this idea

You can already do this with Yahoo Messenger and other IM apps. I doubt Dan the Inventor would be interested.

Google talk does this.. I do it all the time, not the google talk inside the email within the browser, but the google talk that sits in the system trya and notifies you of incoming mail.. Great stuff.. You can even talk with other google talk members..Fantastic feature..
