installing magic jack oin second pc

hey guys

i changec computers and cant get magic jack to work with my new pc

when i plug it in.. the blue light comes on but it does not install the soft dialer..

im using xp pro sp 2

any ideas ?

you could try the MagicFIX and see if that buys you anything.

Do you see the MagicJack CDROM drive in "My Computer"? If so, just run setup from there to see if MJ is installed. Sounds like Autorun was not running in your new PC for some reason.

Thank you for the repsonses... but I still cannot get it to work.. when I plug the device in .. i got the CD rom for Magic drive and manually clicked on the autorun.exe .. but it still does not work.

as far as the magicfix is concerned, the splash icon shows up when i click on the file.. it says something thing like "upgrading"..

it stays there for about 15-20 seconds and just goes away..

any other ideas ?
